How Pastime: Offline Games handles your data
Overview
Pastime is a collection of games made to be played with no internet at all. The Android app does not request the internet permission, so it cannot connect to any server. There is no account and no sign-up. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data.
What Stays on Your Device
The following is stored only in the app's own storage on your device:
- Your games in progress, so you can pick up where you left off
- Your statistics: games played, best times and streaks
- Your settings and favourite games
What We Do Not Do
- No account or sign-up of any kind
- No data collection: we receive nothing about you or your play
- No ads in the current version
- No analytics or crash reporting
- No tracking of you across other apps or sites
Data Retention and Deletion
Because everything is on your device, you are in full control. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device. We cannot delete or recover your data for you, because we never have it.
If you have device backup switched on, Android may copy the app's data to your Google account as it does for every app, under Google's own terms.
Children's Privacy
Pastime does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Future Changes
A future version of Pastime may show ads. If it does, the app will need an internet connection for them, and this policy will be updated before that version is released, describing exactly what the ads send and the choices you have. Your games, statistics and settings will stay on your device.
